As one of Hamburg’s first class hotels Hotel Hafen Hamburg and its new brother the “Riverside Empire Hotel” use both the music solution from Moodmixer GmbH. In the basement bar and restaurant the Moodmixer™-local-system ist running as a centralized multichannel system with up to 4 different channels. Distribution across the premises is being done via analog cableling and via network, accessed by streaming receivers.

“The system hardly needs any maintenance”, the IT-Manager of the Hotels states and its director simply likes how well the music is being put together by the system.

“In the rare case that the central music server has to be turned off, our employees come running immediately because they miss the music, something that didn’t happen when the old satellite system was running and turned to very low volume.”

In the Towerbar they are using the Software solution Moodmixer™-Pro fed by a central music storage. Moodmixer™-local as well: it offers doubled functionality: An automated playlist of highest variation and at the same time the facility to quickly find a song requested by a guest and insert it by drag&drop into the running program- without interruption the song will be ingested and played.
